Auction Checkout 2.0 Released
After days of testing we have updated our website and buyer
checkout to version 2.0. What does this mean to our buyers and
sellers? Many updates have been made to the system, though many
of them were small fixes that will likely go unnoticed by the
average user. However, we have one big announcement with the
update:
Multiple Item Checkout
Our system is now capable of recognizing eBay invoices and
allowing checkout for buyers that purchase multiple items from
you, the seller. So how does it work? Well, there’s two
ways this will function.
1. eBay Invoices
No longer is it necessary for a seller to create a custom invoice
in Auction Checkout in order for a buyer to checkout for their
multiple item purchase. Simply login to your eBay account and
combine the items into one invoice for the buyer. Once the invoice
has been combined the buyer can go to our checkout page and
click on ‘I want to pay for an invoice.’ The buyer
enters their eBay ID and confirms at eBay. After confirming
their eBay ID, we automatically download the invoice into the
checkout form for the buyer to proceed with payment. It’s
really that simple.
2. Buyer Checkout without an eBay Invoice
So what happens if you are a buyer in a hurry and you don’t
want to wait on the seller to create an eBay invoice? No problem!
Go to our checkout page by clicking on the Checkout Now button
in the listing and click the link that says ‘I want to
pay for an item(s).’ Enter one of the item numbers that
you have purchased, it doesn’t matter which one, and your
eBay ID that you used to make the purchase. After confirming
your eBay ID at eBay, our system will automatically recognize
that you purchased multiple items from this seller and will
allow you to checkout for both items at once.
Multiple Item Checkout has been much requested
by our users, and we are excited to finally bring it to you
with the release of Auction Checkout 2.0.
If you find that you are having issues with these changes
to the system, or any other issues you would like to report,
please click here
to send an email request and we will look into the issue promptly.
